To deliver the sheer power of its powerplant to the road the CL 65 AMG was equipped with the 5-speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT automatic transmission. It can also be operated manually using the silver-coloured aluminium gearshift paddles on the AMG sports steering wheel and facilitates incredibly quick gear changes.
